Brief: How will the learning environments of the future respond to social, technological and ecological changes?

Rates of social, technological and ecological change are outstepping our ways of knowing in the 21st century. Natural and cultural phenomena are becoming more entangled as we move deeper into the uncertain times of the Anthropocene epoch. How can we design learning environments that will effectively respond to these accelerating rates of change and uncertainty?

Use the tools and techniques of media and animation to test out speculative ‘big ideas’, designs and prototypes for future learning environments on the Lismore campus. This will culminate in the production of a 1-3 minute animation which brings your future learning environment to life.
